Pousada Das Meninas truly exceeded my expectations - a charming, rustic guesthouse nestled just 500 meters from Farol das Conchas lighthouse and Praia do Farol beach, offering a cozy retreat in Ilha do Mel. The air-conditioned rooms, adorned with wooden floors and cheerful decor, feature all the amenities one could need, including a minibar, flat-screen TV. The daily breakfast buffet, with fresh fruits and juices, was a delicious start to each day. Not to mention, the staff were incredibly hospitable, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. I particularly enjoyed the rustic yet inviting vibe of the place, with tropical plants, hammocks, and friendly pets adding to the homely ambiance. Our chalet, with its own hammock-laden balcony, was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the island. From Susie's helpful recommendations to arranging boat tours, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Pousada Das Meninas is a hidden gem where relaxation meets genuine Brazilian hospitality - a place I would gladly return to with my loved ones for a tranquil getaway.
